GREATER NAPANEE GYMNASTICS RECREATIONAL FAMILY INFORMATION

Hello and welcome to Greater Napanee Gymnastics! Our club is a Not-for-Profit club that has been a part of the Greater Napanee community since 1996.

Insurance: We are a member of Gymnastics Ontario, this membership provides sports accident and injury insurance for all our gymnasts. The Gymnastic Ontario Insurance fee is $40.00 and is paid once a year which will cover our athletes for the gymnastics year (July-June). All our participants are required to pay this fee and it is non-refundable as it is paid directly to Gymnastics Ontario.

Refunds: All refunds are subject to a $20.00 administration fee. Refunds may be issued to families, if requested prior to the completion of the first four classes of the session, refunds will not be issued after the fourth scheduled class of the session. No refunds will be issued for the Day Camp program, if a student is away due to illness or injury, a credit can be requested to be used towards a future program in our facility.

Inclement Weather: We reserve the right to cancel classes due to inclement weather, no refunds will be issued due to class cancellations. We will make every effort to reschedule cancelled classes dependent on staffing availability and time left in the session. Clothing: All gymnasts should have long hair tied back, no jewellery (bracelets, earrings, necklaces, watches). Bodysuits, shorts, t-shirts are appropriate as long as they are not baggy, footless leggings and jogging pants are also appropriate in the cooler weather. Socks are not worn on the gym floor or on the equipment, gymnasts must have bare feet in the gym as socks make it very slippery. MIDRIFF BARING CLOTHING IS NOT ACCEPTABLE.

Other Items of Note: No food or gum is allowed on the gym floor, gymnasts should bring a plastic/metal, refillable water bottle with them, we have a water station in the gym where they can refill empty bottles. If any snacks are brought to the gym, they must be nut-free. Parents/Guardians are not allowed on the gym floor unless their child is registered in a specific parent/guardian assisted class or unless their presence on the floor is requested by their child’s coach. Parents and guardians are permitted to stay and watch their child's class from our downstairs or upstairs viewing areas.
